PracticeNet surveys members about a specific clinical encounter using Real Time Behavior Sampling. This survey method serves to reduce errors related to response biases, mis-aggregation or gaps in memory but respondents must respond within 72 hours of their invitations. The average time to complete the summer 2003 survey was 16 minutes and 33 seconds. Over half of respondents completed the survey within 24 hours of delivery of the email invitation to participate.
